Senior Accountant Job Description:

A Senior Accountant at Upsourced is a key partner in ensuring success for clients and an involved member of the surrounding community. Upsourced is seeking energetic accounting professionals who want to build their career. We’re hoping for someone that would thrive in a collaborative environment where things change rapidly.

• You feel warm and fuzzy when you're working in a spreadsheet
• You're an experienced accountant with a degree in accounting / finance
• Bonus points for prior client service experience and/or a CPA

Things you'll do:

• Work with client to create processes, including selecting technology, to manage their internal accounting
• Propose solutions to technical accounting problems as they arise
• Consult on how best to capture financial and non financial data in monthly workflow
• Oversee and review the accounting work of junior team members
• Build and deliver accurate financials and other reports
• Partner with team to deliver ad hoc reporting to clients
• Suggest improvements to internal accounting workflow to improve service and efficiency
